Intake Pumping Station
The intake pump station is designed to accommodate a flow of 70 m3 a sec at the static head of 2.5 meters above sea level. The station is equipped with twelve (12) Amacan submersible, vertical pumps. The intakes are have screens to avoid the inflow of contaminants and other unwanted materials. The total length of the manmade intake canal is 35 km.
