The project consist of two phases, the construction of Phase I of the new expansion with a Water Spread Area (WSA) of 2800ha, of the fully integrated shrimp farming project has started in 1999 with an estimated cost of US$ 200 million, which was completed in 2006, this will be followed by the construction of Phase II with an expected cost of US$ 150 million, adding an additional 3400ha of WSA. As an integrated project, NPC has all the components to support various activities for its environmental friendly project.
